"Christmas Crackers
No Christmas dinner table is complete without them.
They are part of the dinner table setting, one for each person. They are pulled before the meal starts. We pull them apart by holding one end and someone else across the table the other end. There is a snap inside that bangs when it’s pulled. If you still have the large end you win the gift. Each cracker contains a party hat, a small gift, and the “cracker joke” that is guaranteed to make the adults groan and the kids either puzzled or roar with laughter. Some also have trivia questions included too."
Today's challenge at the CKC blog is to create a layout that is Ombre, using graduating color from darkest shade to the lightest shade. I had a browse through my collection of 2-page sketches for one that would work with that scheme and picked out this one from Pagemaps.

Lovely subject for a DLO - we sometimes make our own so that you get something decent inside!
