Male Birthday Card

My home made cards box is nearly empty and there was nothing in it for men, so I had to get the paper crafting stuff out again yesterday. It's my God Father's birthday next week. He's an artist so he will be pleased to hear that I'm painting again. So I've made a card with a pocket inside to put photos of my latest two paintings, and TJ with her painting, into.

This week's challenge at I love Pro Markers is to layer it up, something I don't do very often but with a little help from the Mojo Monday sketch I managed this.

I followed the layers through to the inside too, but forgot to take a photo before I wrote in it. I've written a tutorial on how the fold the card blank to create the photo pocket (here)

Oh, check out the view form the window today too. I had to collect the kids back from school early today and the snow was deeper than the top of their wellies on the walk home. Roo and Tisha didn't like it, they were too cold and wet by the time we got home. TJ had lots of fun playing with the snow on route though.
